Photocurrent response in parity-time symmetric current-ordered states

There is growing interest in the photo-induced generation of rectified current, namely photocurrent phenomenon. While response was attributed to noncentrosymmetric structures crystals, parity violation accompanied by magnetic ordering, that is, violation, recently attracting attention as a platform for generator. In this paper, we investigate current-ordered phase, realizing without spin degree freedom, although prior studies focused on parity-violating structure. The loop-current order breaks inversion symmetry while preserving parity-time-reversal symmetry. With model Sr$_2$IrO$_4$, demonstrate linearly and circularly polarized light-induced responses state. Each has distinct tolerance scattering rate according mechanism creation. predicted comparable prototypical semiconductors. We propose probe detect hidden-ordered phase Sr$_2$IrO$_4$ response.
